Meet The Team: Rebecca Permack

How long have you been in real estate and what brought you to the industry? 

I started temping in Commercial RE in 1999 which led to a 7-year career in Commercial before I made the switch to residential. This is my 10th year in residential sales.

Where did you grow up? 

I grew up in Maple Ridge, BC. The old Maple Ridge Campsite was basically my back yard.

What's your favourite local neighbourhood and why? 

I have two favourites – Burke Mountain because it’s home, and it’s full of parks, trails, and a growing community, and Suter Brook Village in Port Moody – it’s got everything I need; The three S’s: shopping, SkyTrain, Starbucks.

If you could build your dream home, what are the top 3 things you would include? 

• Large, covered balcony off the master bedroom to take in the views

• An espresso maker in the master bedroom for morning coffees on the balcony

• A fireplace in the master bedroom

What's your favourite local shop?  

Artisan Gifts & Flowers. Angela the owner is just a bubble of joy and they have the most unique finds and stunning original bouquets.

What's your favourite local restaurant? 

Saint Street Grill in Port Moody strikes the perfect balance between fine dining and quirky décor, and the service is nothing short of perfect every time.

A fun fact about yourself? 

I successfully trained for and rain a full marathon in 2016 with only 3 months’ training, starting from zero and I cry during every episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
